I haven't been posting for a few months, due to a lot of things going on including selling our house and moving to another state. Moving in the heat of the summer was awful, and I'm very excited to start enjoying the cooler days of fall.
We have been going on some lovely walks in our new town, and along the way I have been taking photos to record the transition from greenery to a rainbow of yellows, oranges and reds. I try to savor this time of year as I always miss the leaves on the trees during the long months of winter, and want to enjoy every last day of them before they are gone.
Our first hike was at a nearby reservoir, which had wonderful views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
A few more photos from another walk...
Our last walk was yesterday, in early October, and look how different the trees look now!
That is all of our walks for now. I'm sure there will be lots more photos as we go through fall.
My next post will show some photos from a trip to Colonial Williamsburg.
