About Sweet Violet
Sweet Violet was founded by designer Kate Ryan, out of a love for well-made clothing and the belief that quality and beauty shouldn’t require compromise. What started as a passion for designing and making pieces for her own wardrobe has grown into a made-to-order clothing brand focused on thoughtful design, exceptional fabrics and timeless style.
We create women’s clothing that is personal, comfortable and carefully crafted. Our pieces are made one at a time by skilled professionals using natural fabrics like organic cotton, silk, linen, rayon and wool—chosen for their feel, drape and longevity.
What makes Sweet Violet different is the level of customization we offer. You can choose your preferred style, fabric, length and color—or select from our growing library of artist-designed prints, many of them hand-drawn by independent illustrators. Soon, you’ll also be able to customize elements like necklines, sleeve styles and more on dresses and tops.
Our clothing is designed to be worn again and again—not as fleeting trends, but as pieces you can rely on and truly enjoy. From a cotton skirt you’ll wear on repeat each summer to a silk dress that moves beautifully when you walk, each item is created with care and attention to detail.
We serve women who value quality, individuality and timeless style—those who want something special, without the fuss. Whether you're dressing for a trip, a dinner out or simply want to bring something thoughtful into your everyday wardrobe, we’re here to help you find something that feels just right.
Our styles are available in a wide range of sizes, with petite and tall options and custom lengths offered on most garments. While we don’t currently offer full custom sizing, we’re committed to making clothing that fits well and feels good, no matter your height or body shape.
Sweet Violet is for women who appreciate quiet luxury—clothes that speak through craftsmanship, not labels. You won’t find fast fashion here. Just well-made, beautifully constructed garments designed to last for years to come.
