It's been a while since my last blog post, I think the new energy of the spring season has got me moving again.
I went for a walk around some gardens nearby and enjoyed seeing all of the cherry blossoms, hyacinths, daffodils and camellias that are in bloom right now. I'm impatiently waiting for the tulips, which I'm sure are coming in soon.

I stumbled across these adorable little blue starflowers, which I see everywhere on the forest floor when I go for walks in the woods. They were near a pretty birdbath someone had left out for the birds.

And this bench in a walled garden, with more daffodils:

The gardens have some wonderful statues, like this cheeky little cherub.

The hyacinths were in peak bloom and looked absolutely beautiful.

My favorite winter flowers were also in bloom - the hardy camellia:

The white camellias looked so delicate they made me understand why Chanel used them as her signature flower.

The real show-stopper however were the magnolia trees:

There will be a lot more visits to gardens as we go into spring, so stay tuned for more flower photos! I'm also busily working on my spring collection, which includes a velvet dress and some new lace tops. See you soon!
